Cutearoo Caption Contest
Official Rules

1. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
2. Contest begins at 07:00 a.m. PST on May 14, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on May 18, 2012. Contest is open to any individual age 18 or older as of May 14, 2012 who is a legal resident of the United States. Entrants must be present in the United States at the time they enter the Contest.
3. To enter, go to this page and leave a caption in either of the two comments section, “Facebook Comments” or “Leave a Comment.” Only one entry per person per email address. Entries are void if they contain typographical or other errors. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are void. Entries which are mutilated, altered, incomplete, tampered with, illegible, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are also void. Entries are void if the caption is entered anywhere other than this page.
4. The prize is one (1) Artlist Collection The Dog Pug iPhone 4 Case.
5. Each entrant is eligible to participate only once, and no more than one person may participate using the same email address. Cutearoo is not responsible for any failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions and/or network connections. Cutearoo is not responsible for any inaccuracies in information which may be used in the Contest, or for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries, including data entered by contestants. Cutearoo reserves the right to discontinue the Contest at any time, in which event, only entries received prior that date will be considered.
6. Winner will be chosen by Cutearoo based on the best caption submitted. Winner, if any, will be notified by email or through Facebook Message. Winner has 48 hours from notification to email Cutearoo at we@cutearoo.com with requested information or they’ll automatically forfeit the prize. If the original winner forfeits the prize, an alternate winner will be chosen at the discretion of Cutearoo. By participating, a winner, except where prohibited by law, grants Cutearoo the right to use the winner’s name, likeness, picture, portrait, hometown, voice, biographical information and written submissions and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless required by law.
7. The prize will be shipped to the winner by USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Prizes cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes and must be shipped within the Continental United States.
8. The information that you provide in connection with the Contest may be used for Cutearoo’s internal purposes and to send you the prize, but will not be provided to third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest or as required by law or legal process.
9. In the event of a dispute concerning who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized holder of the email or Facebook account from which the entry is made. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person to whom an email address is assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
10. Cutearoo reserve the right in their sole discretion to modify or cancel all or any portions of the Contest because of technical errors or malfunctions, viruses, hackers, or for other reasons that corrupt the Contest in any manner. Cutearoo also reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who fails to comply with these Official Rules, who attempts to enter the Contest in any manner or through any means other than as described in these Official Rules, or who attempts to disrupt the Contest or to circumvent any of these Official Rules.
11. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of Cutearoo and these Official Rules and to comply with all federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations. All federal, state, provincial and local taxes are each winner’s sole responsibility. The prize will be awarded. No prize substitutions, transfers, or cash alternatives permitted except Cutearoo reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at Cutearoo’s discretion. By entering, each winner accepts all of the conditions, restrictions, requirements, and/or regulations required by Cutearoo and also agrees to accept delivery of prize. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, picture, likeness, address, and biographical information for advertising and publicity purposes for Cutearoo and for this and/or similar promotions, without compensation.
12. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Cutearoo, their affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from any damage, injury, death, loss, or other liability that may arise from entrant’s participation in the Contest or the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. All entrants agree that United States law shall apply exclusively to the Contest and that any dispute with respect to the Contest shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the State of California.
